      I do lots of different lectures, but most of them look at key concepts in structural mechanics. It’s because they are key so many different types of engineering that they can then be used to design structures at almost any scale, whether it’s bridges or bone.

      I try to put in some demonstrations, so we recreate the Forth Rail Bridge using the students and we also have some massive foam beams that make it easier to think about what is going on.
