My brother is a civil and structural engineer.

My son is a mechanical engineer – he loved puling things apart to see what makes them tick and will try and improve what is there. So probably took off a bit after me since I also like to take things apart. So for building and customising and riding MTB he way better than me, but I beat him hands down on electronics and computer programming

Good question! No actually. Some of my cousins are doctors/dentists but thats about the closest profession to mine.
One of my younger cousin (8 years old) read a chapter of the children’s book I’ve published and afterwards said that he wants to be an engineer! So I guess time will tell! (see my profile for more info)

Both my parents were teachers, and my brother and sister are in digital media and advertising. I think I’m the only one in my extended family who went into engineering. They all inspire me in different ways. My brother and sister are both incredible graphic designers and have been involved in some amazing projects. I hope some of things that I do inspire them. We don’t tend to say “you’ve really inspired me” when we meet up, perhaps we should!
